Christopher Burton, doctor with 13 years of clinical, research and industry experience.

Christopher obtained his medical degree from Cambridge University and Imperial College in the UK. He has worked as a hospital physician up to the grade of medical registrar and has experience of working in 3 unique healthcare systems (UK, Australia and Denmark). Christopher has also completed a PhD from funding awarded by Copenhagen University in the field of lung transplantation with a number of publications in international peer review journals and a best abstract award from European Respiratory Society.

After 4 years research, Christopher joined Novo Nordisk as a global medical advisor, and in a short time was promoted to take a leading role in the development of a new high profile product that was completing phase 2, and was heavily involved with phase 3a and 3b trial design, KOL development, communication and publication strategy development. During this time, he also completed an MBA module ‘Creating value through innovation, organizational effectiveness and personal leadership’.
